Dear Parents,

Picture
A huge percentage of students from Maine Township do not approve of adults providing alcohol to teens. We believe parents should be the role model for teenagers and take action by not providing alcohol. A role model is one who exhibits positive behavior and sets strong examples. Providing alcohol to minors could result in serious health, safety, and legal consequences.
Teens notice their parents' actions and are influenced by the decisions that their parents make. For example, if parents put forth a firm and healthy expectation on drug and alcohol usage, teens are more likely to respond to that and make good decisions in the future.
